Position Summary: FOHA is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to assume the role of Enrichment Event Lead during an Enrichment Event. The Enrichment Event Lead will be responsible for coordinating volunteers, ensuring smooth event execution, and assisting with post-event clean-up. Having prior experience attending an enrichment event is highly desirable as it will enable the lead to effectively guide and direct the event activities.
Responsibilities:
- Event Organization: Collaborate with the shelter manager to plan and prepare for each enrichment event, ensuring all necessary supplies, materials, and equipment are readily available.
- Activity Direction: Guide and direct volunteers throughout the event, ensuring that activities are carried out effectively and in accordance with the shelter's guidelines and animal welfare standards.
- Activity Placement: Oversee the placement of finished activities in their designated locations, maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the event.
- Event Assistance: Assist volunteers with any questions, concerns, or challenges that may arise during the event, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
- Post-Event Clean-Up: Collaborate with volunteers to tidy up the event area, clean equipment, and ensure all supplies are properly stored after the event.
