Facilities Grounds and Maintenance volunteers needed for the following scopes of work on site;
- Grounds Work
- Mowing/weed eating - as needed around all kennels and buildings to included exercise and play yards as well as trails and driveway.
- Seasonal leaf blowing/raking - around kennels, buildings and yards.
- Seasonal snow removal - as needed for building and kennel access. Clearing runs and yards for proper care of animals on site.
- Trail work - clearing vegetation, weed eating and spreading wood chips.
- Play yards - spread wood chips as needed.
- Landscaping - mulch flower beds and weed as needed.
- Wood splitting - seasonal as needed
Above tasks can be completed at will. Equipment is available on site with applicable guidelines.
Maintenance related activities to be scheduled with the facilities manager as follows;
- Maintenance Work
- Buildings repairs - any repairs to electrical, plumbing or HVAC components or systems.
- Construction - new builds or repairs to drywall, framing, roofing or painting.
- Driveway maintenance - filling pot holes
- Tree removal - cutting down or removing downed trees
- Landscaping - walkway maintenance or new walkway builds.
- Fencing/yard repairs - repairs needed for any animal yards or runs.
